Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley scored victorious goals which lead to the winning of Everton against West Ham United by 2-0 at Godison Park.
Lukaku maintained his amazing scoring run against the Hammers after spectacular strike in the front in the 50th minute of the match. He got on the end of Bolasie’s cross after Adrian dodged a Seamus Coleman strike.
The German International has a goal each game in appearances for Everton against West Ham. The count has now extended to nine matches.
In the 76th minute Lukaku and Barkley joined together and Barkley fired at the far post which lead to their first victory in their five Premier League matches. Everton finds its position in the 6th place whereas West Ham stands in the 16th position.
The star player of Everton Dimitri Payet was to the fore and the away side made a decent start to the game. The France International produced organized tee-ups for both Michail Antonio and Pedro Obiang but went unconverted and then brought save out of Joel Robles. He was in for the injured Maarten Stekelenburg and made his first appearance of the season with a deflected shot.
Everton faced its first threat after the 15 minutes of the game when Bolasie’s strike was blocked by Mark Noble’s arm and Gareth Barry coiled the loose ball over.
Lukaku was then disappointed by a poor touch in front of Adrian’s goal. On the other end Manual Lanzini skipped through a clutch of players to blaze the ball across the box.
After being fed by Barkley, Lukaku fired a shot wide off a West Ham man who sidestepped Winston Reid a few moments later. He unleashed a redirected effort of his own that was well saved by Adrian.
Barkley saw another deflected strike and an evident cross from Kevin Mirallas that was headed towards the goal and it was tipped over by Adrian as the improvement for Everton continued. But they were fortunate enough that Coleman got in the way of the attempt made by Payet just before half-tie.
An important attacking contribution by Coleman led Everton ahead in the game shortly afterthe break. Adrian was not able to hold on to the low drive of the Republic of Ireland International and Bolasie quickly reacted and was able to deliver the strike that Lukaku nodded in from close range.
Shortly afterwards there was an off-target shot by Barkley before the audience exerted some pressure while looking for an equaliser.
Antonio got past Ashley Williams but later thrashed by Robles. Bryan Oviedo showed good work and an effort from the West Ham substitute Andre Ayew went wide after which the Toffees goalkeeper dived to push away a curler from Noble in a spectacular manner.
Everton successfully overcame the pressure and then effectively settled the match after Barkley released the ball to Lukaku and went on to meet the front man’s return cross with a spike past Adrian.
Lukaku had a chance there to add to his goal but saw his side-foot volley saved and the two amazing scores past the goal led to a victorious match for Everton.
